FAQ

Can we control which brands appear on our pages?

Yes. You have full control over which advertisers can appear on your post-purchase pages, at three levels:

  • Category and sub-category — exclude whole categories. Choosing your own category at setup also automatically keeps direct competitors off your pages.
  • Sensitive categories — blanket-exclude sensitive categories (alcohol, gambling, and similar) with one setting.
  • Individual advertiser or domain — block a specific brand by name or domain.

Your exclusions always take priority — anything you block stays off your pages. For step-by-step instructions, see Setting up exclusions.

Do offers display for everyone?

Your offers display, generally speaking, to all shoppers — with one big geographic exception: offers won't populate for shoppers based in Europe. We suppress offers from loading if our system detects, based on IP address, that a shopper is in one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

If you'd like to prioritize one type of shopper over another (for example, new customer acquisition), talk to your Customer Success Manager or fill out the CPA enrollment form.

Is Disco ADA compliant?

Yes. As of December 5, 2022, the DiscoOffers widget is ADA compliant (WCAG Level AA) on both desktop and mobile browsers. To ensure we build AA-compliant products moving forward, we've also established an internal checklist for our designers and engineers to follow.
